Project Gutenberg
The Gutenberg Project has over 13,000 out-of-copyright works you can download for free, including many classics and children's books. I would recommend Jerome K Jerome's 3 Men in a Boat. It was written in 1888, but the antics of the three friends are just as funny today. (There's a sequel, too. See if you can find it...) |
