1) Download the installation file. Internet Explorer users are forced into a series of pointless* security warnings which look something like this:
Just click Save. You'll get another warning (this one with a nice friendly red X):
Click View Downloads:
Once the downloads folder is open, locate the downloaded file and run your normal anti-virus scan on it. Once you're happy it's free of viruses, run the installation file. Now Windows will probably throw up another warning similar to the one below:
At this point you either trust me (and my company, Spacejock Software) and click 'Yes', or you click 'No' and delete the installer. That's up to you - just bear in mind I set up this website over ten years ago, and if I was offering dodgy software someone would have closed it down by now, wouldn't they?
Follow the prompts to set up the software, and once setup is complete FCharts will appear in your Start menu under the heading 'Spacejock Software'

This file contains 3 years of data for roughly 2500 tickers. Download and run to install.
Please be aware that it will replace any existing price data. In other words, don't install this sample data if you already have FCharts running with your own database.
Community Manual
This comprehensive manual was assembled by Neil McPhee, and consists of masses of information culled from postings to the FCPro mailing list in addition to a great deal of original material. A huge effort.
Title and Sector files
This file contains descriptive titles for UK, US, ASX (Australia), Toronto, NZSE (New Zealand), BVL-30 (Portugal) and IBEX-35 (Spain). Extract it and import the relevant file into FCharts. The sector files are for the
PRO version, where you can do top-down searches and comparisons.
System Requirements:
Visual Basic 6 runtimes (included in the installer)
Any version of Windows, right back to Win 95. (e.g. Win95, Win98, Win2K, XP, Vista, etc)
Hardware: if you're running Windows, you can run my programs.
